Information
Welcome to the Recipe Section . Pretty self explanatory . I just wanted a page where I can post different recipes I make, and discuss food. Maybe share some photos a couple times a month.
I'm not sure how well this section will work for what I want to do and I may end up having to include it in the blog section of this site however I will give it a try and keep you posted!

Simple Yet Filling
I started out not sure what I wanted for dinner last night. Then with frozen water pipes and drain pipe I decided to go with something simple and filling. I have already thought of two changes I would make to it. Maybe three. However here's the recipe. What seasonings or spices or other ingredients would you have used?
Simple Yet Filling
1lb -sweet sausage ( I used Gianelli for this however any sausage would work)
3 -medium yellow potatoes (peeled and diced- I used a dicer for this that has two different dice blades one for large dice and one for mini diced. I opted for large)
1/4 bag- mini carrots diced
Sea Salt for the pan of water
garlic to preferred taste
salt to preferred taste
pepper to preferred taste
1 pan of water
1 frying pan
1 Slotted spoon ( with the drain pipe frozen came in handy to strain carrots and potatoes to add to sausage mix.
Once veggies and potatoes are peeled and in the pot with salt water bring to a boil. I boiled for 7-8 minutes.
While veggies are parboiling fry down the sausage
When veggies and potatoes are done strain and add to pan with sausage. Add seasonings stir to coat.
Cover stirred food in the pan and set on low for another ten minutes. Restir and serve.
Things I'd do differently next time.
Add olive oil to frying pan.
Strain meat leaving oil in the pan and add seasonings salt and pepper to it
Add the parboiled veggies and stir to coat
Add meat back to the veggies, stir to mix.
Cover and low medium heat for another ten minutes.
Serve.
Why? I noticed the potatoes and carrots just tasted like potatoes and carrot. Not as flavourful as they could be.
Idea, a couple cloves of garlic peeled, cut in half to add to water with veggies.
